This notice explains how Fur Baby Go handles information submitted through its request-based Toronto neighbourhood care pilot.

What Fur Baby Go is
Fur Baby Go is currently operating a Toronto neighbourhood care pilot. The public website accepts care requests and caregiver-interest submissions for dog walking, pet sitting and boarding; a submission is not a confirmed booking, approved host or offer of work.
Care requests
We collect the services requested, name, email, mobile number, postal code, Fur Baby name, requested timing and frequency, and any optional note you provide. We derive whether the postal code is in the initial service area and, for qualifying M5A postal codes, record the neighbourhood as the Distillery District.
Caregiver interest
We collect your name, email, mobile number, postal code, neighbourhood, care interests, availability, care-work preference, pet-care experience and any optional note. If you select boarding, we also collect whether you can currently host and your home type.
Technical and attribution information
A submission may include the referring page and UTM campaign parameters from the page address. We also store submission time, source and internal status. Cloudflare network information is used temporarily for short-window abuse limits but is not written into the care-request or caregiver-interest record. The page generates basic first-party interaction events in the browser; no analytics provider currently receives them.
Why we collect it
We use care-request information to review the requested care, assess whether service may be possible, understand neighbourhood demand and contact the person who submitted it. We use caregiver information to understand local care capacity and contact prospective caregivers as opportunities develop. We also use submission and technical information to operate the pilot and prevent misuse. We do not use these forms to enrol people in unrelated marketing.
Please leave sensitive details out
Do not put passwords, home entry or access codes, government identification numbers, banking or payment information, detailed medical or veterinary records, or other highly sensitive information in an optional note. If health or medication details are needed for confirmed care, Fur Baby Go will request them through the appropriate later care process—not these public forms.
Service providers
Cloudflare provides the website hosting, server infrastructure and D1 database used to process and store submissions. Public maps load Leaflet software and OpenStreetMap map tiles in your browser, but the form code does not send your submitted form fields to those map services. Fur Baby Go does not currently send form submissions through Resend or another email-delivery provider.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers required to operate the website and database, and may be disclosed where required by law or where reasonably necessary to protect people, the site or the service.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, subject to legal and operational requirements. A formal retention schedule has not yet been established and remains a required business decision.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect submissions, including server-side validation, submission-size limits, duplicate suppression and basic rate limiting. No online service can guarantee complete security.
Your choices and contact
You may ask to access or correct your personal information or ask how it has been handled. For now, reply to a Fur Baby Go communication you have received. A dedicated public privacy-contact address has not yet been established and must be confirmed before broad public advertising.
